چکیده
Since the early ages, human beings have used colored materials to leave marks on their environment and following generations. In time, paints, which gained great importance with painting objects items they used, brought environmental problems them. Synthetic paints/dyes meet increasing need over time had be eliminated from environment. Nowadays, using bacteria is considered as a good solution for eliminating dyes that contain azo groups. These are in large quantities difficult decompose. The main goal of this study was decolor six different (amido black 10B, evans blue, janus green, methyl orange, red, orange G) by use four psychrotolerant Bacillus (Bacillus sp, B. cereus, mycoides, subtilis) isolates. According obtained results, it determined isolates could remove colors presenting high decolorization activity (up 98%).

Decolorization of Methyl Orange (As a Model Azo Dye) by the Newly Discovered Bacillus Sp
A bacterial strain (strain PS) was isolated from the textile effluents carrying Serilene Black BNFS® (C.I. Disp. Blk. Mix) disperse dye. The isolate was able to decolorize the dye without the need for any exogenous carbon source. Full sequencing of its 16S rRNA indicated that Bacillus sp strain PS is related to Bacillus cereus groups. Silica- gel-thin layer chromatography of Ser...
متن کاملAzo dye decolorization assisted by chemical and biogenic sulfide.
The effectiveness of chemical and biogenic sulfide in decolorizing three sulfonated azo dyes and the robustness of a sulfate-reducing process for simultaneous decolorization and sulfate removal were evaluated. The results demonstrated that decolorization of azo dyes assisted by chemical sulfide and anthraquinone-2,6-disulfonate (AQDS) was effective. In the absence of AQDS, biogenic sulfide was ...
متن کاملKinetics and Energetics of Azo Dye Decolorization by Pycnoporus sanguineus
Trypan Blue, an azo dye, was decolorized using the self-immobilizing fungal biomass of Pycnoporus sanguineus. The extent and the rate of dye decolorization were directly proportional to the initial dye concentration (20–60 mg L) and the reaction temperature (25–45°C). Mass transfer within and outside the pellets did not limit dye degradation. The apparent kinetics of the decolorization reaction...

Decolorization of azo dye Red 3BN by two bacterial species Bacillus cereus and B. megaterium has been analyzed using mineral effluent, consisting of known concentration of the dye in ZZ medium. Physico chemical parameters like carbon source, nitrogen source, temperature, pH and inoculum volume are optimized for the decolorization process by changing one parameter at a time. Optimal condition fo...
